We read a story as a class and later had to select phrases from it to develop into our own poem. Here’s a visual of my poem and illustrations as well as a recording of me narrating it. The story was about a girl trying to save her boyfriend who was paralyzed. She wants her brother who has telekinesis to try and make them win the lottery with his powers so he can be saved.
